Our Story
With a background deeply rooted in Parks and Recreation, spanning from active participation in various sports to collegiate tennis and a career as a tennis coach professional, my life has been intricately connected with public parks for sports, work, and leisure. Over the course of my extensive experience in public parks, coupled with three years in the Tampa/Saint Pete area, I’ve keenly observed the invaluable role public parks serve in communities.
Frequently, community members encounter a recurring decision-making challenge when contemplating whether to visit a park and determining the most suitable one for their specific activities. For instance, considerations may arise regarding the overcrowding of pickleball courts, the availability of tennis courts, weather conditions affecting court usability, or the accessibility of park lawn space for a family picnic.
These instances illustrate some of the typical considerations community members face in their decision-making process. ParkView aims to address these challenges by delivering a service that provides convenience for community members, while simultaneously establishing a passive revenue stream for city parks and recreation departments.
